Course Overview
This session introduces the fundamentals of Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) in IPv4 and Neighbor Discovery in IPv6, explaining how devices resolve IP addresses to link-layer addresses for communication within a network. Learners will gain an understanding of the key differences between ARP and Neighbor Discovery and why IPv6 uses a more efficient and scalable approach, with practical relevance to modern networking environments.
